Axxept’s adviser Signy Svendsen has been appointed to the Faculty Council of Oslo University College’s Faculty for Journalism and Media Studies. She is one of two external members of the council, which counts a total of nine members.
The Faculty Council’s mandate is to discuss key issues shaping the Faculty’s educational offerings and academic research. The Council provides advice on curriculum, business partnerships and strategies shaping the Faculty’s future activities.
“I find it exciting to be allowed to contribute to the journalist and communicator education of tomorrow. Also, it is a tribute to the PR industry that an adviser from a PR agency has been offered a seat on the Council, which otherwise consists of representatives from more traditional journalistic disciplines,” Signy Svendsen said.
